Santa Rosa Cemetery Association, Inc
The Santa Rosa County Cemetery Association, Inc (SRCCA) was formed in 2008 to work with interested persons, residents, local jurisdictions, cemetery groups and historical societies to address the condition of the many cemeteries in the county that are in need of repair and preservation.
SRCCA wants and needs all interested persons to join us in addressing the condition of many of the counties cemeteries.
Cemetery Survey
While the organization is awaiting non-profit status from the IRS, efforts are underway to conduct a preliminary survey of all known cemeteries, document the conditions of the cemetery and the headstones, the exact location, if any persons are maintaining the cemetery, whether any veterans are buried there and many other pieces of information needed to be competitive in applying for grants.
Once this preliminary survey is completed SRCCA will be conducting a new headstone survey.
